The Process
United Way of Salt Lake needed a video that clearly stated their mission. We decided a brand anthem video would be the best approach: a strong confident narrator would succinctly explain the issues facing Salt Lake and how UWSL tackles these problems. In our opinion, on-camera interviews explaining their mission just wouldn’t have the same impact. Our visual approach was handheld and close-up, which kept the energy up. Shots were a blend of staged b-roll and fly on the wall doc-style shots in order to make it feel real and personable.
